Totally against my personality, I took off from work one Thursday afternoon and drove to Destin to meet Tara and Callie.  We spent the whole next day at the beach, and then I drove home.  The drive was fun too in Mom's convertible.....and EC enjoyed a spin in the car while it was still at the house. 

My sweet girls somehow pulled off a special Mother's Day.  It was also special this year because we got to go to church with Gramsby and have lunch with her.  We really enjoy them living close by!!

Two wonderful patients participated in Gumtree this year.  Carmen and Kaleigh had a great time.  They both walked the finish line with tons of enthusiasm.  Hughes and Mallie Powell helped make it possible.  And of course, the mighty foursome ran the fun run!!!

I was one proud Mama of these girls.  They all worked very hard this year.  Farrow Kate totally rocked the 4th grade awards.  Emma Claire got highest academic in math.  Sarah finished strong in the 7th grade.  Ashtyn had a huge improvement in reading skills and completed our last 3rd grade in a row.  Ashtyn even had a Sunday School graduation celebration.  I cannot believe that Emma Claire is moving out of elementary school after being there for 6 years.  She had an end of the year "graduation" dance and loved it. 

What do you do when you can't quite make it to Casting Crowns concert?  You get together anyway and play the music from iTunes.  Great friends never let little barriers get in the way.

It is amazing to see my baby girl get all dressed up and look so grown.  She and her friends had a great time at the dance.  Did I mention they are all beautiful.  One proud Mama!!!

Ann May was kind enough to invite Farrow Kate and Ashtyn and I to her cabin at the resort.  It was just what the doctor ordered.  I enjoyed relaxing and watching them play with such joy.  This is a beautiful well kept secret in Alabama.

The Discovery Field trip this year ended up on Saturday at Six Flags.  EC and I enjoyed a fun day and even ran into the Wilkins who were there for choir competition. 

Easter was a beautiful day this year with 4 beautiful girls!!!
